Cajun tenderloin!

The Menu shows 3 types of Tenderloins. I tried the Cajun Deep Fried. I liked it, but I like a little heat. If you look close at the meat it has a RED glow to it, the Cajun spices. Because of that extra spice it was on the salty side. But look at that soda cup they use you had plenty of drink to wash down that extra salt. Tenderloin itself was tasty and crunchy. I'll need a second trip to try the regular tenderloin.

Pop’s Place in St. Joseph serves up a no-frills, diner-style tenderloin that’s as classic as it gets. We rated it a 3 out of 5 on our scale. The size earned the top score at 3.25, with the tenderloin hanging nicely off the bun and giving solid plate coverage. The breading was crispy and golden, offering that satisfying crunch you look for in a BPT. However, the bun landed the lowest mark at 2.75, a bit too soft and uninspired for such a hearty sandwich. The generous pile of fresh-cut fries was a highlight crispy, salty, and a perfect sidekick. Overall, Pop’s delivers a good, honest tenderloin not a standout, but definitely a dependable option if you’re passing through St. Joe craving some fried comfort.
