Ford’s Drive-In earns a 2 out of 5 on our tenderloin scale. This one’s a pre-pressed fritter-style sandwich, so if you’re looking for that hand-pounded, homemade texture this isn’t it. The flavor and crispness were serviceable but unremarkable, the kind of drive-in classic that scratches the itch without standing out. On the upside, the spicy cheese balls were the unexpected star of the meal crispy, flavorful, and easily the highlight of the stop. Overall, it’s a nostalgic roadside bite more for convenience than culinary bragging rights.
