I love the flavor of the pepper in the breading. It made the onion rings fire as well. Daughter loved the pancakes. For me, it was a 5 all day long and I’m stuffed.

I ordered the 1 lb. Mighty Tenderloin with LTOP for $14.99. It came with French fries, but I subbed onion rings for an upcharge of $2. We also got an order of the Billion Dollar Bacon for $7.99. The 1/4” thick BPT, that spanned the width of the 15” platter, was golden brown, with crunchy breading, fresh LTOP, on a buttered and grilled bun that stood up to its job. The tenderloin was well seasoned, juicy, and tasty. The breading was seasoned and had visible pepper, which I like, and it adhered well to the tenderloin. I had one great sandwich with enough to enjoy a couple of days later. The onion rings were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and perfect. The Billion Dollar Bacon came as an appetizer. The hardwood apple-smoked bacon itself was very good. The maple syrup was yummy on the bacon, but the dish left me wondering where the black pepper, brown sugar, and cayenne were. Sadly I forgot to get a picture, because we were so excited to dive into it! The menu said there were 4 slices of bacon in the order, but we got 8. My husband had a breakfast skillet which he enjoyed. They serve breakfast all day. The restaurant was very clean, with interesting country decor. Erika provided great service and checked on us often. It was a great meal, which we enjoyed before seeing Barry Manilow on his last tour in Springfield, MO, celebrating our 48th Anniversary. There are several Billy Gail and their Flat Creek restaurants in the Springfield/Branson area. We will be back!
