I grew up on a hog and cattle farm in northern Missouri. One of my Dad’s favorite sandwiches was a pork tenderloin sandwich from the Panther in Polo, MO. He passed away a little over four years ago. When I am up home (which isn’t often), I make it a mission to go to the Panther and get his sandwich. Then I drive to Kingston and go to the cemetery. This isn’t a great picture, but this is a great sandwich. If you’re ever passing through this small farming town, pull into the Panther. Check out my Dad’s favorite. (I normally order it like he did, but this time I added pickles. Felt wild.)
