I ordered the Tenderloin Sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles for $15.95. I added mustard at the table. It was hand-cut, tenderized, breaded with cracker crumbs, and served on a toasted bun. I chose the beer-battered onion rings as a side for $5. The sandwich was the size of the serving plate, and had to have been 12” across, and tenderized to 1/4- 3/8” thick. The breading was crispy and adhered well, and the tenderloin was tender and very nicely seasoned. The veggies were fresh and crispy. Rumor Has It’s tenderloin sandwich IS one of the best BPTs I’ve had so far. The onion rings were crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth soft on the inside. I got 4 sandwiches out of that BPT! We had great service, and the restaurant was very clean. I found out from their FB page that the Monday night we were there was the first night being open on Mondays, (open everyday now), so I feel really lucky getting to eat there that night. We were on the way home from the weeklong AirVenture Airshow in Oshkosh, WI. I had been looking forward to this BPT for a whole week! It is right downtown. We will definitely stop again when in Hannibal.
