If you’re chasing sheer size, The Depot’s tenderloin in Leavenworth absolutely delivers. This behemoth earned a 4 out of 5 on our scale, with the size scoring a commanding 5/5 easily hanging off the plate in classic Midwest fashion. While the breading had a nice crunch and solid flavor, the bun and thickness tied for the lowest marks at 3.25/5. The bun couldn’t quite handle the massive cut, and the tenderloin leaned a bit thin, losing some of that juicy bite along the way. Still, it’s a satisfying sandwich for the price especially if you pair it with their fried green beans, which were a standout side. Big, bold, and unapologetically fried The Depot serves up a true Kansas tenderloin experience.
