The pork tenderloin sandwich at Tweeters is a solid example of a well-made Iowa classic. The tenderloin came out golden brown and beautifully crisp, with a breading that stayed intact from the first bite to the last. The pork itself was tender and juicy, not too thick, and seasoned just right letting that classic Iowa flavor shine through. The bun was fresh and soft, holding up nicely against the hearty cut of pork and the generous stack of lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. The fries on the side were thick-cut, perfectly fried, and golden on the outside with a fluffy inside exactly how they should be. Overall, Tweeters delivers a straightforward, satisfying tenderloin that’s all about texture and balance. It’s not over-the-top in size, but it’s packed with flavor and cooked with care.
