While on an errand in the little town of Mt. Morris, Illinois, I was finally able to stop by Mullarkey’s to try their pork tenderloin. Hand-pounded and breaded, it had just the right thicknes and flavor. Highly recommended. The cook said that I got his last one. And even though “smashburgers” were their special, the pork tenderloin still outsold it on this given day. The HBPT was not super large in diameter, but it makes up for it in thickness and flavor. It’s very tasty. For a side, I recommend their homemade chips. It’s so hard to find a good pork tenderloin in northern Illinois, but Mullarkey’s is worth the trip!
