Tenderloins After Dark on S East Street in Indianapolis, Indiana is now open Tuesday through Thursday for dinner starting at 5 PM while still keeping the late-night hours that made them famous. Being open until 2:00 or 2:30 AM means Tenderloins After Dark is the exclusive late-night operation in Indy. The tenderloin is hand-cut, hand-pounded, hand-seasoned, and hand-breaded on toasty buns, and a self-described picky reviewer called it one of the best they have ever had. Blown away is the exact phrase. The menu has two sandwiches: T's Tenderloin, the classic pub-style version, and the Hot n' Tender, a spicy breaded preparation that earns its own following for anyone who wants the tenderloin with heat. The S East Street address is on the south side of Indianapolis near the Southport corridor. There is no other tenderloin stop in the Indianapolis market with these hours. When every other kitchen in Marion County has been closed for two hours, Tenderloins After Dark is still taking orders.
